SELLER GUIDELINES
Create listings that sell. Build trust. Get repeat buyers.
Before you list: Verify your email address first — you won't be able to publish listings until your account is verified. After your first sale, funds are released to your Stripe account once the buyer confirms delivery (48-hour inspection window). Stripe bank transfers typically take 2 to 7 business days.
CLEAR PHOTOS
- Multiple angles (front, back, sides, close-up of any damage)
- Good lighting — natural light is best
- Clean background so the part is the focus
- If fitment matters (like fairings), show how it sits on the bike
- At least 3 photos minimum. More photos = more trust
CONDITION DESCRIPTION
- New — Never installed or used. In original packaging if applicable.
- Like New — Minimal wear. Almost indistinguishable from new.
- Good — Some wear, scratches, or minor marks. Fully functional and safe.
- Fair — Visible wear, scuffs, or small damage. Still works as intended.
Be honest about condition. Buyers check photos and will dispute if condition is misrepresented.
FITMENT INFORMATION
- List the year, make, and model it fits (e.g., 2019 Yamaha YZF-R1)
- Include OEM part number if you know it
- If it fits multiple bikes, list them or say "fits models 2018-2020"
- If fitment is uncertain, say so explicitly
- Never list "Universal" unless it truly fits any bike
DAMAGE DISCLOSURE
- List all known damage, cracks, dents, or missing parts
- Describe how bad it is (cosmetic vs. functional)
- Take close-up photos of damage
- If damage is major, lower the price accordingly
- Never hide damage — it shows in disputes and kills your seller rating
FAIR PRICING
- Check similar parts on eBay, CycleTrader, and other marketplaces
- Factor in condition, age, and rarity
- Price OEM parts lower than new (they're used, after all)
- Price rarity and scarcity higher if the part is hard to find
- Don't overprice — buyers will report or move on
SHIPPING WEIGHT & BOX SIZE
- Estimate shipping weight and box size realistically
- Overestimating weight hurts your listing (shipping shows too high)
- Underestimating creates surprises when the buyer gets charged more
- Weigh and measure before listing if possible
SHIP PROMPTLY
- Ship within 2 business days of the sale
- Use a tracked shipping method
- Pack the part safely to avoid damage in transit
- Upload tracking immediately so buyers see proof it's shipping
COMMUNICATION
- Respond to buyer messages quickly (within hours if possible)
- Answer fitment questions honestly
- Send tracking info as soon as you ship
- If there's a problem, communicate early
WHAT BUILDS REPUTATION
- Accurate descriptions and photos
- Prompt shipping
- Good communication
- No disputes or very few
- Satisfied buyers = repeat business and positive feedback
